The Value of Down-hole equipment in a plunger lift application

After 9 months of continued free-cycle plunger lift service this bumper spring and bottom hole assembly was removed to perform some well servicing. As you will see the entire assembly is still in excellent shape. There is no deformation of the spring or signs of stress cracking. The fish-neck is in very good shape and is not "mushroomed" out or even indented. (Mushrooming is a slang term that is used when the fish neck deforms due to the plunger landing on it over a period of time.)
